Where the project is going and how it got here.

• Roadmap: the milestones M0–M21, each with a gate that must pass before the next starts, and where each one stands.
• Candidate features: the researched features adopted as M17–M21 (decision D118), with the evidence for each and the ideas that were rejected.
• Decisions and risks: every design decision as its own record (what was decided, the alternatives, the reason, and what replaced it), and the risk register.
• Benchmark results: the measured runs kept in bench/records/, each record with a README that says what was measured and what it means.

Outside this site:

• dev/assumptions.md: choices made without asking the owner, to be confirmed.
• report/: the design and results report and the roadmap and test report (PDF, release 0.8.0).
• reports/realworld/: eight real-world boards routed under their own rules.
• CONTRIBUTING.md: how to report a bug or send a change.
